Cancellation Policy

Your journey matters to us. These terms help ensure fairness for both our guests and our local partners across Samoa.

1. Booking Confirmation

All bookings with Tour Samoa are confirmed upon receipt of full payment or an agreed deposit. By confirming a booking, guests acknowledge and accept the terms outlined in this cancellation policy.

2. Guest Cancellation Policy
Standard Tours & Experiences

  • More than 48 hours before departure: Full refund (excluding transaction fees where applicable)

  • 24–48 hours before departure: 50% refund

  • Less than 24 hours before departure or no-show: No refund

Private Tours & Custom Experiences

  • More than 72 hours before departure: Full refund (excluding transaction fees where applicable)

  • 48–72 hours before departure: 50% refund

  • Less than 48 hours before departure or no-show: No refund

​

Group Bookings (6+ Guests)

  • More than 5 days before departure: Full refund

  • 3–5 days before departure: 50% refund

  • Less than 72 hours before departure: No refund

3. Rescheduling Policy

Guests may request to reschedule their booking up to 24 hours prior to departure, subject to availability.

​

Rescheduling requests made within 24 hours of departure are at the discretion of Tour Samoa and may incur additional costs.

​

4. Cancellation by Tour Samoa

Tour Samoa reserves the right to cancel or reschedule tours due to:

  • Severe weather conditions

  • Safety concerns

  • Operational issues

  • Minimum guest requirements not being met

Where possible, guests will be offered:

  • A full refund, or

  • An alternative tour date

5. Late Arrivals & No-Shows

Tours operate on scheduled departure times.

Guests who arrive late and miss the departure will be considered a no-show and will not be eligible for a refund.

6. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed within 5–10 business days.

Refunds will be returned via the original payment method where possible. Bank charges or transaction fees may apply.

7. Third-Party Bookings

Bookings made through third-party providers, travel agents, or booking platforms may be subject to separate cancellation terms and conditions.

Guests are encouraged to review the relevant provider policies before confirming their booking.

8. Force Majeure

Tour Samoa shall not be held liable for cancellations or disruptions caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters

  • Government restrictions

  • Pandemics

  • Transportation disruptions

  • Extreme weather events

Refunds or travel credits in such cases will be assessed individually.

9. Community & Cultural Experiences

Certain experiences involve local villages, cultural groups, and third-party community partners. Late cancellations may directly impact these communities; therefore, stricter cancellation conditions may apply to selected cultural experiences.

10. Policy Amendments

Tour Samoa reserves the right to amend or update this policy at any time.

The cancellation terms in effect at the time of booking shall apply.
